Dal tadka recipe is a favorite dal preparation from combine three lentils (tur, masur & yellow moong) lentil tempered with red chili whole, cumin & garlic.

Ingredients:-
First Step:-
25 gm. Masur Dal
25 gm. Tuvar
25 gm. Yellow Moong
½ Tsp. Turmeric
Second Step:-
3 Tbsp. of Ghee
½ Tsp. Cumin Seeds
1 No’s of Whole Red Kashmiri Chili
1 Tsp. of Garlic Chopped
1 Tsp. of Ginger Chopped
½ Tsp. Green Chili Chopped
1 Tbsp. Onion Chopped
1 Tbsp. Tomato Chopped
Salt to taste
½ Tsp. Coriander Powder
1 Tbsp. of Fresh Green Coriander Chopped
Preparation:-
- Dissolved lentils in water for 1-2 hours.
- Finely chopped onions, tomatoes, green chili, ginger & garlic.
- Cooked soaked lentils in pressure cooker add salt and turmeric for 5-6 minutes.
- Insert clarified ghee in heated fry pan and add cumin seed, whole red chili, ginger, and garlic, green chili chopped sautéed till raw texture of ginger is finish.
- Add chopped onion and sautéed 2-3 minutes until light brown and add after tomato chopped cook until softness.
- Add seasoning salt, coriander powder & turmeric powder.
- Now pour the boiled lentils in tadka and broil.
- Insert water if required to constancy and add green coriander chopped
- Pour in bowls or balti.
- Insert again tadka of (ghee, cumin, red chili whole, turmeric, & garlic chopped).
